Hotspot Plans
Create prepaid hotspot plans for your captive portal — session duration, speed limits, and pricing.
Creating a hotspot plan
Go to Plans → Add Plan and select Hotspot. Hotspot plans are session-based — a customer buys a plan and gets internet access for the defined duration. After the duration expires, they must pay again to reconnect.
Duration units
Hotspot plans support granular duration units suitable for session-based pricing:
Minute
Hour
Day
Week
Month
For example: a "3 Hour" plan (duration value = 3, unit = hour) gives the customer 3 hours of access from the moment they pay.
Portal display
All active hotspot plans are displayed as cards on the captive portal, sorted by price ascending. Each card shows the plan name, duration, and price in KSh.
Plans marked as Inactive are hidden from the captive portal automatically. Use this to temporarily remove a plan without deleting it (e.g. during a pricing change or promotion).
