Questions before you join

What if my router model isn't on the list?

The models above are the ones we see most often in the field, not an exhaustive list. Jasiyo works with any MikroTik device running RouterOS 7, and still supports RouterOS 6 devices already in service — talk to our team if you're unsure about a specific model.

What if my SMS provider isn't listed?

Reach out and we'll look into adding it. In the meantime, Jasiyo's built-in SMS sender works out of the box with no setup — a good stopgap while we onboard your provider.

Do I need a registered business to sign up?

No — you can start with Jasiyo as an individual. A registered business (with a KRA PIN and certificate) is only needed later if you apply for your own M-Pesa Paybill/Till via Safaricom Daraja, or for KYC on PayHero or Paystack.

How long does setup actually take?

Most ISPs are live in under 10 minutes: connect your MikroTik, create your plans, add customers, and link a payment gateway. Router provisioning is guided step-by-step — no scripting knowledge needed.

What happens when my 7-day trial ends?

Monthly billing starts. PPPoE is billed at KSh 25/customer/month and Hotspot at 3% of revenue (minimum KSh 1,000/month either way) — no other charges.

Can I switch payment gateways later?

Yes. You can add, switch, or run multiple gateways side by side at any time from Settings → Payments — nothing about your customer setup needs to change.

Is there a contract, or can I cancel anytime?

No lock-in contract. You're billed monthly for what you use and can stop at any time.

Is my data safe with Jasiyo?

Yes. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, access is role-based, and everything is logged and backed up regularly. Your data is only used to run your business, and we never sell it.
