    MikroTik Router

    Jasiyo connects directly to your MikroTik to manage PPPoE customers, hotspot sessions, and bandwidth in real time.

    Required

    Any MikroTik running RouterOS 7: hEX S, CCR, RB5009, RB4011 and most current models. RouterOS 6 devices already in service still work, but v7 is what to build on.

    Not supported: MikroTik RB941-2nD, commonly known as the hAP lite.

    Is there an onboarding fee?
    Only if you want it. Setting up yourself is free: follow the guided steps to connect your router and start selling. If you'd rather our team set up your router with you, with personal calls, WhatsApp guidance and help getting your first customer online, that's an optional one-time KSh 500 (non-refundable), paid via M-Pesa.
    Does Jasiyo have a free trial?
    Yes! Jasiyo offers a 7-day free trial, so you can explore the platform and set everything up at no cost. After the trial, our Hotspot plan charges 3% of revenue and PPPoE plans are KSh 25 per customer per month, with a single KSh 1,000 monthly minimum across your whole account rather than per service. There are no hidden charges, and setting up yourself is free.
    How do I connect M-Pesa?
    Jasiyo integrates directly with M-Pesa through Safaricom's Daraja API. During setup, you'll provide your M-Pesa business shortcode and API credentials. Once connected, billing and payments are fully automated.
    Can I send money direct to my bank?
    Yes. In Settings → Payments, choose the "Bank Transfer" or "M-Pesa via Bank (PayHero)" gateway. Customer payments settle by STK Push straight into your bank's paybill account.
    Can I use my paybill / Till number without API?
    Yes. Under Settings → Payments, you can register your existing M-Pesa Paybill or Till number directly — no Safaricom Daraja API keys or developer setup required. STK Push payments settle straight into your paybill or till as normal.
    Does Jasiyo work with MikroTik?
    Absolutely! Jasiyo is built specifically for MikroTik routers for PPPoE, Hotspot, and static IP management. Build on RouterOS 7 — several newer capabilities only work on version 7. RouterOS 6 is still handled for ISPs already running it, but it is not what you want under a new network. To connect one you name the router, let Jasiyo scan it, then paste a single generated script into the MikroTik terminal. That installs a small agent which connects outward to Jasiyo, so you do not need a public IP address, an open inbound port, or a RADIUS server.
    Can I manage PPPoE, Hotspot, and Static customers?
    Yes. Jasiyo supports all three customer types in a single dashboard. Each type has dedicated management tools, plans, and billing configurations tailored to their specific needs.
    Can I import customers via CSV or from a router?
    Yes! You can bulk import customers using CSV templates we provide, or sync directly from your MikroTik router. Both PPPoE and Hotspot customers can be imported this way.
    What happens when a customer doesn't pay?
    Jasiyo automatically sends SMS payment reminders before the due date. If payment isn't received, the system can automatically suspend the customer's connection and reactivate it once payment is confirmed.
    Can I send SMS reminders automatically?
    Yes! Configure automatic SMS notifications for billing reminders, payment confirmations, service expiry warnings, and custom announcements. SMS costs are billed separately through your chosen SMS provider.
    How secure is my data?
    Your data is protected with enterprise-grade security: encrypted at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, comprehensive audit logging, and regular backups. We follow industry best practices to keep your business data safe.
