Voucher Management
Create, manage, and track Wi-Fi hotspot vouchers in Jasiyo — batch generation, printing, redemption tracking, and expiry management.
What are vouchers?
Vouchers are pre-paid access codes that give Wi-Fi access for a fixed duration or data limit. A customer buys or receives a voucher code and enters it on the captive portal to get instant internet access — no M-Pesa transaction needed at the time of use.
Vouchers are ideal for: cafes, hotels, conference venues, community Wi-Fi points, and any location where you want to sell internet access in advance (scratch cards, over the counter, etc.).
Creating vouchers
Go to Vouchers in your ISP dashboard and click Generate Vouchers. Fill in:
- PlanSelect the hotspot plan these vouchers will grant access to (duration, speed)
- QuantityHow many vouchers to generate (e.g. 50, 100, 200)
- ExpiryWhen unused vouchers expire (e.g. 30 days from generation date)
- RouterWhich router these vouchers are valid on
Click Generate. Jasiyo creates the voucher codes and pushes them to your MikroTik router as hotspot users.
After generating, click Print to get a printable sheet of voucher codes you can cut up and distribute or sell.

- Customer connects to your Wi-Fi and is redirected to the captive portal
- They click Use Voucher on the portal
- They enter their voucher code and click Redeem
- Jasiyo verifies the code against MikroTik and logs the customer in
- Internet access starts immediately — the voucher is marked as used
Tracking & expiry
The Vouchers page shows each voucher's status: Available (not yet used), Used (redeemed), or Expired (passed the generation expiry date without being used).
You can filter by status to see remaining stock. Expired and used vouchers are kept in the log for reconciliation.
