Understand Jasiyo's pricing model, how active customers are counted, and how your platform subscription is managed.
Pricing model
Hotspot
6% of hotspot revenue collected through the platform per month. Minimum charge: KSh 1,500/month.
PPPoE / Static IP
Starter (1โ300 active customers): KSh 60 per active customer/month
Growth (301โ1,000 active customers): KSh 50 per active customer/month
Scale (1,001+ active customers): KSh 40 per active customer/month
Minimum charge: KSh 1,500/month across all tiers.
How active customers are counted
Billing is based on active customers at the time of the monthly billing run. An active customer is one with a subscription status of Active โ not expired or suspended.
Customers who are suspended or expired during the month are not counted. This means you only pay for customers who are actually using the service.
Free trial
All new Jasiyo accounts start with a 7-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to all features with no restrictions. No credit card or payment is required to start.
At the end of the trial, you'll need to activate a paid subscription to continue. You'll receive email and dashboard reminders as your trial approaches its end.
Billing cycle
Jasiyo bills monthly. Your invoice is generated on the same date each month based on when your subscription started. Payment is collected via M-Pesa to Jasiyo's Paybill (4565991).
You can view your current bill, billing history, and active customer count under Settings โ Billing in your dashboard.
If your account is suspended
If your Jasiyo subscription is not renewed, your ISP dashboard will be suspended. Your customers' existing connections are not immediately terminated โ MikroTik routers continue running. However, Jasiyo will stop processing new M-Pesa payments and automatic renewals will not run.
To reactivate, pay the outstanding invoice via M-Pesa to Paybill 4565991 and contact Jasiyo support to confirm reactivation.
